Scout troop decorates Shook Museum
Christmas tree
by MPC
CLYDE — Junior Girl Scout Troop No. 166 of Canton assisted with the
decorating of the Christmas tree in the Shook Museum.
The tree was donated by Mike Medford of Setzer Drive in Canton and was
grown on the property of his grandmother, Connie Shook Patrick, who was
a descendant of the Shook family.
The tree is decorated with handmade decorations used from the 18th
century. The tree will be on display in the museum through the holiday
season.
An “Old Timey Christmas” open house reception will be held at the museum
from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 16.
